An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Controls Manager to join a leading international consultancy on a contract basis.

The Project Controls Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of brownfield projects from inception through to completion. They will be responsible for overseeing project schedules, budgets, risk management, and reporting. This is a key position within the team, providing critical support to project teams and clients to achieve project objectives efficiently.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, shaping the future of complex redevelopment sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Implement robust risk management processes, identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Lead project control efforts across the project life cycle, from planning through to execution and close-out.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for clients and senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and key metrics.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Controls Manager, preferably within brownfield projects.
  • Strong understanding of the brownfield project life cycle, including challenges and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, AACE) is desirable but not essential.
