Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Shift Lead to join our team at the Virtus Data Centre in Slough. The Shift Lead will oversee day-to-day operations, manage the infrastructure, and ensure high levels of security and performance during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and engineers.
• Monitor and manage data center systems, including power, cooling, and network performance.
• Respond quickly to any operational issues or alarms.
• Conduct regular maintenance and security checks.
• Maintain records of equipment and service activities.
• Act as the key contact for clients, ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Ensure smooth handovers between shifts and collaborate with different teams.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in data center operations.
• HV AP
• Leadership capabilities with experience managing technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a calm approach under pressure.
• Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
• Availability to work on a rotating shift basis, including nights and weekends.
