Pharma-Partners is currently supporting a specialist, global pharma company looking to hire a new Medical Director to lead their medical affairs function and be part of the strategic senior leadership team. As the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the companies medical strategy and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will lead the medical affairs team, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and contribute to the development of strategies and processes. This position reports directly to UK General Manager and would work closely with regional counterparts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the medical strategy aligned with the company vision
• Provide medical leadership and guidance to internal teams
• Manage the medical affairs functions
• Engage in scientific exchange with external experts and key opinion leaders
• Work closely with commercial, marketing, and market access teams
• Act as ABPI final signatory

The Candidate:

• GMC Registered Physician
• Significant experience in senior medical roles within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within the UK
• ABPI final signatory is required
• Prior direct management of medical team members is essential
