Bridges Worldwide (UK) Ltd are an independent provider offering ‘Network Solutions’ to the e-commerce, logistics, express, and courier industry through a wide variety of neutral domestic & international supply-chain service capability including fulfilment warehousing, customs brokerage & air-freight linehaul options through both scheduled commercial airlines and regional Freighter operations.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Executive at Bridges Worldwide in Colnbrook, with flexibility for remote work. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential clients, presenting products or services, and maintaining customer relationships. You will report directly to the Head of Commercial, work and collaborate with the Commercial Team to design and implement strategic sales plans, marketing campaigns and the release of new products and services.



Key Duties & Responsibilities


·       Responsible for delivering revenue targets for ALL company products and services

·       Actively build & strengthen relationships with Primary Accounts

·       Utilise and guide/mentor divisional sales support staff in servicing enquiries   

·       Providing market intelligence on customer/supplier base, competitor products, tariffs & services

·       Identify NEW airlines/shipping lines/service providers as potential core suppliers.

·       Provide support, drive & create initiatives to/with Senior Management Team (SMT) for innovative services sustaining & enhancing BWW's competitive strength within core lanes and introducing fresh avenues of revenue generation

·       Build & Develop relationships with overseas partners that allow bilateral trade that drives growth in import volumes/shipments optimising bilateral trade, maximising use of integrated customs brokerage service.

·       Provide interdepartmental support through client/supplier intelligence to achieve targets/KPI’s

·       Attend industry trade events/exhibitions (domestic & international) as & when required

·       Produce regular Reports detailing prospects with definitive pipeline of Revenue & GP

·       *Develop, grow & maintain database of clients to align with company strategy & product roadmap (*existing database is preferable)

·       Co-ordinate with Commercial Team in constructing competitive contract rates with carriers (airlines/hauliers etc.) ensuring customer rate cards are updated and managed regularly ensuring unparalleled customer service and attention.

·       Contribute towards frequent Department QA of service delivery with Head of Commercial

·       Design regular Marketing campaign(s) internally and in accordance with service supplier to promote Company Product range including promotional rate alerts to specific focus groups

·       Review Targets with Head of Commercial at set intervals to manage Action Plan or contingencies

Key Skills (Mandatory)


1.        Excellent communication, interpersonal Skills & +5 yrs experience of multicultural audience.

2.        Able to work individually and as part of the team, with confidence in critical decision making.

3.        You will be a proficient sales executive with outstanding knowledge of the industry and targeted service lanes & company product portfolio

4.        You shall be well organised and manage your schedule independently based on a strategic sales strategy set by the SMT.

5.        Good knowledge of e-Com/Cross-border trade, Import, Export & Brokerage processes.

6.        Meticulous attention to detail with impeccable presentation & oratory skills.

7.         Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Tools (Word, Excel PowerPoint)

8.        Access and learn proficient navigation and utilisation of all Company software – both external and proprietary.  



Preferred

  • Experience in GSA sales &/or Airlines Sales
  • Global Agency contacts
  • Airfreight/Linehaul experience
  • Freight forwarding community knowledge


Hours

Full-time (40 hrs per week)

Monday-Friday 9-5pm (Min) – Not fixed


Remuneration Package

£40k+ performance related commission
